Have you ever ask yourself why some people lead in life and why some follow. Have you ever sit back one day and ask why things seems to be going on fine for some people and why some people struggle and struggle in life and yet things seems not to be working. Has is ever occurred to you that there are some people who get whatever they want in life by just tapping their fingers and all is done. Have you ever ask yourself “what is wrong with me?” “why are things not working out for me?” “why am I working and yet have nothing to show for my hard working?”
Well, the question is not whether something is wrong with you or not; the question is how well of yourself did you know? I want you to ask yourself “who am I?” I know many of you will mention your name, say “I am Luck Godman, or Sarah Lincoln” but that is not who you are. Until you know who you really are you can not with all boldness declare your personality to the world and you can not discover what your assignments are in life.
Who you are? Who do you think or believe you are in life? Who you believe you are is what determines what you will become in life. Who you believe you are is what determines what will interest you in life; and whatever interest you develop in life is the ultimate key to your success in life. History has it in black and white that every successful people both dead and alive are successful based on the fact of them doing what interest them and give them fulfillment in life. That you are not successful yet is not a guarantee that you will never be successful in life.
I don’t know who you are, but I know in you is the power to become great in life. Every day I declare these words to myself: I SAM ADEOYE-KING, I AM A LIFE CHANGER. A CITY TAKER. A NATION BUILDER. This is who I believe I am and it is a sure thing that this is what heaven had made me to be in life. I SAM ADEOYE-KING, I SPEAK THE WORD OF GRACE TO PEOPLE EVERYTIME, ALL THE TIME. I OPEN MY MOUTH IN WISDOM. PEOPLE FIND SOLACE IN ME AND IN THE WORDS THAT COME OUT OF MY MOUTH. THE WORD OF MY MOUTH TRANSFORMS THE LIFE OF MY HEARERS FOR GOOD AND TAKES THEM TO GREATER HEIGHTS IN LIFE. PEOPLE AND NATIONS SEEKS FOR MY WISDOM. I HAVE THE WISDOM OF GOD. I WALK / WORK IN FULL UNDERSTANDING OF GOD. I OPERATE IN FULL KNOWNLEDGE OF GOD. I LOVE PEOPLE AND NATIONS JUST HAS THE LORD LOVES THEM. I AM A LIFE CHANGER. A CITY TAKER. A NATION BUILDER. I LOVE PEOPLE AND PEOPLE LOVE ME. I THINK OF THE BEST OF PEOPLE; I HELP THEM SEE THE BEST IN THEMSELVE AND MAKE THEM BECOME THE BEST IN LIFE. God did not create a poor person so you are not poor. He said in His word that thought He was rich, but He became poor so that you might be rich. He became poor, is a deliberate act, He chooses to become poor not that He was created poor so that He can exchange His own riches for your own poor thinking that has resulted in your poor situation. What makes a man poor is not because of what he does for living, but because of what he thinks of himself; as a man thinks, so he is. If God is not poor and He created you and I in His image and likeness, then we have the power to become whatsoever we desire to become in life.
Inside every fish in the ocean is the ability to swim, so they need not going to the university of mother or father fish to learn how to swim. Inside every thing the Lord created is the ability for that thing including human being to succeed in life. What you need to become a successful lawyer, doctor, teacher, engineer, cook, fashion designer, shoe maker, artist, actor, singer, pharmacist, pastor, producer, footballer, author is all within you all you need doing is to discover who you are by constantly telling yourself what you want to see about yourself; birthing what God had destined you to become in life.
Let me share some personal experience with you; the very beginning of my journey in life to destiny. It all started in the early 80s when I was still in primary school but I really did not come to the full understanding of what I kept telling myself until early 90s and on November 1, 2008 what I was saying to myself then became a reality. Having checked my family background, I can see that everyone was half educated; my father was the only person to have some level of education from his own family, while from my mothers’ side, none of them were except my mother with standard six. Then, I noticed that with the way things are going, we all might end up just like our parent just as some of my cousins had, so I kept telling myself, I Olumide Sunday Samuel Adedapo Adeoye-King, the Covenant Child of God, Mr. Just, I am going to marry a graduate, a God fearing lady that will be my best friend, a great mother to children and mother to many nations. A woman that will make my life complete and bring fulfillment to the life of people around me. Then, when I was saying it, it seems I don’t know what I was saying, but today, not only did I marry a graduate, my friends and family called her great woman, good woman, virtuous woman and so on. What I picked up in the 80s did not come to full manifestation until 2008, if you can see it before it happens, then you can have it.
This is the similar situation we all find ourselves. We tell our self a lie of who we are and we pretend to be who we are not; and when we see people who accept who they believe they are in their thinking making progress in life, we begin to condemn our-self; blaming God, our parent, people, situation or circumstances for what is happening to us. When for a long time a go, we have denied our real self and we are now living the life of other people around us and the lies we have believed about our-self for so long. Ask yourself, are you doing what you are doing because you enjoy doing it or you are doing what you are doing because you see other people doing it or because someone compel or convince you to do it. Are you where you want to be in life? Is the life you are living now the kind of life you really want to leave? Definitely no!
Success in life is having the mind of your own and been willing to follow it through by following the foot step of people who had been through the path of life you are about to journey on and accomplish the desire result for their life; and commit your ways into the hand of God, trusting Him enough to get you there. Remember, God saying, if you are WILLING and obedience, you will eat the fruit of the land. The key word here is WILLING. Are you willing to accept who you are? Are you willing to accept responsibility for what had happened to you and move on with your life? Are you willing to put in extra effort to move from where you are now and begin to journey towards where you desire to be.
Don’t allow anyone to tell you who you are, because they might end up giving you the wrong description of you. Tell yourself who you are and begin to walk and work in the reality of who you believe you are. Some years back, I left
The least you and I can be in life is to rule; that is why I love Glo advert “rule your world”; If you can not rule your world who will rule it for you? The reason why you have not been ruling is because you don’t know who you are. Sit down at least for the first time in your entire life, think, meditate, and ask yourself core questions pertaining to your life. In every problem is a solution. The solution to the problems of your life is in you; but the only thing that will bring it out is to ask yourself: who am I? what are the things that I do well? what problem can I solve for people that will bring me financial returns? what are the things I enjoy doing so well? where do I want to be in ten twenty years time? what kind of children do I want to have? what kind of wife or husband do I want? what kind of life do I want to leave? do I want to be an employee or an employer? what kind of friends do I want to have? what kind of environment do I want to raise my children? what level of education do I want to give my children? Once you are able to give answers to all these question, and you are passionate about all your answers, then prepare yourself to work hard until you see your answers transforming from pen inks on your paper to flow of cash into your bank account. If need for you to let go of every other things, please let it go.
I thank God for the team of wonderful people God had given me to work with me in our ministry. They are wonderful people with great talent, sharp vision like an eagle and unbeatable strength like a horse. People like Bolaji Olumuyiwa, Femi Luyi, Victor Ariyibi-Oke, Chris Ife and Micheal Chiamaka, Austin Inyang, Mr. Sule and David Effiong; working with them is really a blessing. A month after we started our ministry GoldenCity Assembly, we have over thirty eight people visiting our church and fifteen members just is six week. But all these were made possible simply because a year before we started, I decided to put a hold to every other things I was doing and buried my head in books and research materials on doing what I believe I was called to do; and after a year of full preparation, the first set of people I told about the ministry and invited to be part of the ministry embraced it with all pleasure; simply because they see the hand of the Lord in what I was about to do and see a man that know there he is going. I will never forget a brother that attended our meeting for the very first time and decide to be part of what we are doing. When you fully prepared yourself for where you are going in life, people will stand up to support you. I can tell you that all the people on our team are great individuals with a sense of mission and a heart of vision.
Discover who you are and people will go to any lent to support you. Today, I command every invisible hand that is working against your life to be destroyed. The grace and the power to discover your true identity in God and in life is released to you right now in the might name of Jesus Christ. Receive sharp mind, accurate spirit and the wisdom to excel in life. Where others fail you will succeed. What is impossible for others will be possible for you. In a place of shame, my God the creator of the heaven and the earth will give you fame. Every confusion in your life is over right now in the might name of the Lord Jesus.
